ORA NEW ZEALAND & ORA ONLINE

Donna Kerridge, founder of Ora New Zealand in 2004, is a passionate advocate for traditional Māori healing practices. Her work focuses on preserving and nurturing these ancient wellbeing principles, ensuring they remain relevant, safe, and respectful for all, particularly future generations in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Guided by the Māori proverb "Ka whangaia, ka tupu, ka puawai" ("That which is nurtured, blossoms and grows"), Donna’s mission is to honor the teachings of her ancestors by sharing their wisdom widely.

Rongoā Māori, the oldest healing practice in New Zealand, blends art and science to promote the wellbeing of both people and the planet. As the world changes, so do the relationships between humans and nature, yet Rongoā Māori remains deeply rooted in the lore of the land, offering timeless guidance in our modern era.

Ora Online, a branch of Ora New Zealand Ltd, provides interactive and inspiring online learning in Māori indigenous healing practices. This platform, supported by the New Zealand Ministry of Culture & Heritage and other esteemed Māori knowledge keepers, makes traditional Māori wisdom accessible to a broader audience. Through her work with Ora Online, Donna Kerridge ensures that the rich heritage of Rongoā Māori continues to flourish and adapt, benefiting all who call Aotearoa home.

At X-ZONE, we can attest to Donna's passion, knowledge and stewardship and highly recommend her courses to anyone wishing to learn about Māori indigenous healing practices and culture.
